Readiness for Online Learning Among Foreign Language Undergraduates in a Private University in Malaysia

: Increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia forced the authority to enforce Movement Control Order since March 2020. This order requires students remain at home while learning via distance and online modes. study aimed assess readiness Foreign Language (FL) Malaysian private universityy transition from face-to-face learning. employed quantitative research whereby data was collected 120 FL using an questionnaire. Computer/internet self-efficacy, self-directed learning, learner control, motivation communication self-efficacy are five variables used (OLR). The findings showed that most ready learn during pandemic. Results show computer/internet significant OLR variable. According results, were confident obtaining any information on internet platform their studies. In midst pandemic, adds fundamental understanding students' perceptions shifting as well examining language setting.
